The Ministry of Digital welcomes the launch of the GXBank headquarters and ‘GX Untuk Semua’ initiative by Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim today. 

Following its RM1.5 billion investment in support of the government’s KL20 plan announcement over five years, GXBank will invest in the ‘GX Untuk Semua’ initiative, which includes establishing a centre of excellence; a talent-building hub; a hub for regional banking operations; and a technology innovation hub called the Innovation Lab aimed at developing tomorrow’s banking solutions. 

The Ministry of Digital recognises that building a robust and dynamic digital economy requires collaboration among all stakeholders including the government, industry, and citizens. We thus welcome today's launch as a significant step towards bridging the digital divide, to create an inclusive, innovative, and compassionate Malaysia where no one is left behind. 

GXBank’s endeavour will enhance access to finance and funding, especially for SMEs, MSMEs, and the underserved population. It will also serve to build Malaysia’s digital talent pool. These initiatives align with the ministry’s vision of promoting financial inclusion, supporting economic growth, and driving digital transformation.
