Principals, Teachers, Parents,
Beloved students,
Distinguished guests, Ladies and Gentlemen.
Salam Perpaduan and Salam Malaysia MADANI.
1. First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to all parties who worked together to ensure the success of the Program Mini MADANI Kita (PMK): Student Motivation and Excellence 2026 for schools under the Damansara Parliamentary Constituency from 18 to 22 September 2026.
2. This programme is not merely about academic achievement. More importantly, we aim to build self-confidence, discipline, values, selfidentity, love for the nation, and the courage to shape the future.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
3. When we speak of excellence, let us keep in mind the core tenets of the National Education Philosophy. It emphasizes that education in Malaysia is an ongoing effort towards further developing the potential of individuals in a holistic and integrated manner.
4. The nation’s primary ambition is to produce balanced and harmonious individuals intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, and physically, based on a firm belief in and devotion to God.
5. A truly highly motivated student does not merely chase paper qualifications, but actively refines their character and morals, maintains their physical health, and holds steadfast to moral and spiritual principles.
6. We aim to nurture a generation that is intellectually bright while simultaneously possessing high human values, especially in navigating today's fast-paced, challenging, and exhilarating digital era.
7. In this modern landscape, strong self-motivation serves as both a shield and a compass in shaping well-balanced individuals.
MASTERING THE DIGITAL ECOSYSTEM
Ladies and Gentlemen, and Beloved Students,
8. Today’s reality sees us living in an era of rapid digital evolution.
9. All around us, children and parents alike hold smartphones, surf the internet, interact on social media, and shop online.
10. However, the question remains: Do we want to remain mere consumers forever?
11. Beyond our smartphone screens lies a vast technological ecosystem, built upon complex digital infrastructure.
12. These sectors require skilled local talent and experts. We must shift from being passive users to becoming active creators and makers of digital solutions.
EXPLORING NEW FUTURISTIC CAREERS
Ladies and Gentlemen,
13. When we ask children about their ambitions, the common answers we often hear are doctors, firefighters, lawyers, or engineers. These choices are noble and remain relevant.
14. However, I wish to share a new perspective and encouragement with our students, parents, and educators: make digital technology one of your primary career choices.
15. Today’s world and the world of tomorrow requires experts who can build new solutions, protect personal data, lead cloud technology, and guide digital transformation grounded in honesty and ethical values.
16. To encourage more citizens to understand and master digital technology, the MADANI Government has outlined various highaspiration efforts and policies to cultivate a digitally literate society that is well-versed in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
17. The Government is actively providing infrastructure, training facilities, and educational modules that emphasize critical thinking and AI literacy right from the school level. This strategic step is taken to ensure that no Malaysian child is left behind in the tide of rapid global progress.
18. To make this grand vision a reality, the role of parents and the selfdiscipline of our children are paramount.
19. To our beloved parents, guide your children in their use of technology. Channel their interests positively. Show them how their favorite games are built. Expose them to new knowledge and skills online.
20. To our cherished students, focus on becoming outstanding individuals. Cultivate intrinsic motivation from within yourselves.
21. Master the fundamental subjects in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Strengthen your language proficiency. Above all, always nurture a deep sense of curiosity.
CLOSING
Dear Students,
22. Look to the future with full confidence. You are the generation that will lead and transform Malaysia into a great, globally respected nation.
23. The future of our country lies not merely in skyscrapers, but within the minds, character, and skills that live inside each and every one of you.
24. It is my hope that from the schools within the Damansara Parliamentary Constituency, a new generation will emerge, one that will someday produce scholars, professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, civil servants, technology experts, as well as authoritative community and national leaders.
25. On that note, it gives me great pleasure to officially declare the closing of the Program Mini MADANI Kita: Student Motivation and Excellence 2026 for Schools under the Damansara Parliamentary Constituency.
Thank you.
