PRESS RELEASE

MYGOV MALAYSIA RECORDS OVER 1 MILLION DOWNLOADS, OFFERING 38 SERVICES ACROSS 13 GOVERNMENT AGENCIES

PUTRAJAYA – The MyGOV Malaysia application, introduced to unify the public service ecosystem, has received an overwhelmingly positive response from the public.

Since the launch of its beta version on February 27, 2025, MyGOV Malaysia has recorded over 1 million downloads. This achievement reflects the high level of public confidence in the MADANI Government's efforts to enhance the quality of public service delivery through a digital platform that is more organized, secure, and user-friendly.

To date, MyGOV Malaysia provides 38 services involving 13 government agencies, covering inquiry functions and providing direct links to relevant government services. This integration process is being implemented continuously and in phases, with priority given to high-impact and frequently used services, including application and payment transactions.

MyGOV Malaysia does not replace existing government applications; however, it will continue to monitor usage patterns and the needs of the people before considering any further consolidation of government applications in the future.

In line with the objective of enhancing user experience, the Ministry of Digital is currently exploring the capabilities of Agentic AI to improve service efficiency. This initiative aims to enable the application to function more intelligently and proactively,

thereby ensuring a smoother user journey and reducing digital bureaucratic complexities.

At the same time, the Ministry of Digital will implement "Citizen Labs" nationwide as an inclusive engagement platform. Through this approach, the public will have the opportunity to provide direct feedback and participate in the co-creation process, ensuring that MyGOV Malaysia remains relevant to the current needs of its users.

The aspiration of the MADANI Government is to see MyGOV Malaysia become 'The Single Gateway' that is truly trusted by all segments of society. We are not just building an application; we are building a digital bridge that connects the people with the Government, without the constraints of time and place.

I hope that this innovation will serve as a catalyst for a digital work culture transformation that is faster, more transparent, and inclusive, in line with our goal of establishing Malaysia as a respected digital nation in the region.
