DEEPAVALI MADANI OPEN HOUSE 2025 WITH THE THEME “CAHAYA MADANI, SINAR PERPADUAN”
PUTRAJAYA, 13 OCTOBER 2025 – The Ministry of Digital, with the support of the Ministry of National Unity, will be organising the National Deepavali MADANI Open House 2025 on 18 October 2025 (Saturday), from 10.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m., at Lot F, KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur.
The event will be graced by the presence of the Prime Minister, YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, together with the Minister of Digital, YB Gobind Singh Deo. It is expected to attract more than 5,000 attendees, comprising ministry staff, industry partners, local communities, and people from various races and religions.
With the theme “Cahaya MADANI, Sinar Perpaduan”, the event carries the message that light is not only the central symbol of the Deepavali celebration but also represents enlightenment, hope, and unity among Malaysians within the framework of Malaysia MADANI.
• “Cahaya MADANI” refers to the core values of Malaysia MADANI, which are grounded in compassion, well-being, and humanity.
• “Sinar Perpaduan” reflects the outcome of that light — a society that is united, harmonious, and respectful of one another.
The National Deepavali MADANI Open House 2025 is an annual initiative aimed at fostering the spirit of Malaysia MADANI through an inclusive and meaningful approach. It serves as a platform to promote unity, mutual respect, and harmony among different races and religions, in line with the government’s aspiration to build a society that is united in diversity.
The Deepavali Open House celebration has long been a national and institutional tradition, symbolising Malaysia’s diversity and harmony. This year, the Ministry of Digital is taking the initiative to make the event a platform to strengthen relationships among ministry personnel, digital industry stakeholders, and the local community, while nurturing the spirit of togetherness in the festive atmosphere.
The event will also showcase elements of Indian culture, including traditional cuisines, artistic performances, and cultural dances that can be enjoyed by people from all walks of life, reflecting the beauty of heritage and the MADANI values embodied in everyday life.
